Joint Replacement
Joint replacement is a procedure in which the damaged ends of the bones that form a joint are replaced with artificial materials. In the treatment of joint damage due to arthritis, joint replacement is currently the closest thing that we have to a cure. All other treatment methods are geared towards controlling the symptoms of arthritis. Joint replacement, on the other hand, replaces the damaged parts of a joint.
